Five Tips to Calm Your Pet During Fireworks:

1. Safe Space: Provide a secure area where your pet can feel safe, such as a kennel, closet, or under the covers.

2. Stay Calm & Distract: Avoid consoling your pet when scared, as it can reinforce fear. Instead, engage them in enjoyable activities like playing or grooming to divert their attention from fireworks.

3. A Snug Shirt: Use a snug-fitting shirt or wrap designed for pets to provide gentle pressure, similar to swaddling a baby, which can help soothe your pet.

4. Background Noise: Play music, turn on the TV, or use white noise to mask the sound of fireworks. Classical music may have a particularly calming effect on anxious pets.

5. Call Us: At Cascade Vet, we understand your concerns and are ready to help alleviate your pet’s anxiety.

Medication can be ordered over the phone. Please allow 24-48 hours for time of pickup
